What to expect

This air purifier is one of the most efficient in the world! One of its major advantages is its capacity to remove the smallest and most dangerous particles, but without the noise, change of expensive filters, ozone and with a very low energy consumption!

You simply turn it on and the blue indication lamp lights up and the collector becomes static. We then ask you to have some patience to let the air purifier do its job. The collector will in time become dirty, which is the perfect indicator that the air purifier is working. How long time this will take depends on how polluted the environment is where you place it.

The amount and type of pollution in the air is very dynamic and varies greatly from place to place and even building to building or household to household. As a general rule the collector get more of a dark even black color in an urban environment while in the countryside it becomes more grey and dusty. It also matters if you have many sources of pollution inside such as pets, cigarette smoke, printers, etc.

How it works

The patented LightAir IonFlow 50 air purifier is based on traditional ionization technique but has been further developed and optimized. The major previous disadvantages of traditional ionization technique like generation of ozone as a bi-product, dirty interior surfaces and low efficiency have been successfully eliminated.

LightAir IonFlow 50 generates from the three corona needles billions of electrons per second that transforms into negative oxy ions when they come in contact with the oxygen molecules in the air. The production of electrons results in a concentration of more than 250.000 negative ions per cm3 measured from one meter distance, which is more than any other ionizing air purifier has ever attained before as far as we know.

1. The indoor air is full of particles that come from yourself, your surroundings and your daily activities such as bacteria, virus, mold, pollen, car exhaust, dust, etc.
2. Lightair IonFlow 50 generates billions of electrons per second that transforms into negative ions.
3. The negative ions charge the particles in the air negatively.
4. Once the particles have been negatively charged they are attracted by the positively charged collector which essentially acts like a large magnet for dirt. IonFlow 50 is especially effective in removing the smallest particles in the air, which are considered the most hazardous to our health.
5. When necessary, the collector can be easily removed, rinsed in water and then reused.
